Keeping your child Safe
Whether it be games or practice our commitment is for player safety.
Three years ago, ARYSL took initiative to have all Coaches and Asst Coaches fingerprinted and background checked.

We ask you as parents to make sure your child is dropped off & picked up to and from practices and games.  Coaches have not volunteered to babysit your child and may have other committments.  No child should be left unattended.

Parent Behavior:
Each ARYSL Club has a Parent Policy to cover parent ethics and/or sideline behavior.  The best thing you can do is set a good example for your child and all players on the field.
The laws of the game state that the coach is ultimately responsibile for sideline behavior, it is not uncommon for a coach to be tossed from a game because a parent could not be kept under control.  Don't be THAT parent!!

Player & Sideline Conduct

Parents are encouraged to get involved.  There are a number of small jobs that each team needs.  Field set up, field take down, snack, year-end party, team manager, asst coach, just to name a few.  Each parent should also be included in the team.
Parents are also encouraged to get involved at a hire level.  Our local clubs all have a volunteer Board of Directors that are always in need of help for special projects.
